Oscar Wilde wrote: “Life imitates art far more than art imitates life.” That quote hit home when I read Pope Benedict XVI’s message for World Day of Peace, January 1, 2011, released on December 16. It turns out that Pope Benedict’s declaration struck very similar themes as the fictional Pope Augustine did in a letter to Christian leaders around the world in my new novel titled Warrior Monk: A Pastor Stephen Grant Novel.
